World-famous researchers form IWT 2015’s technical evaluation committee
The preparations for the 6th International Workshop on Telecommunication – IWT – have started. The call for papers for the event to be held at Inatel’s campus in Santa Rita do Sapucaí - Minas Gerais, Brazil, has been announced, and its technical evaluation committee has been defined.
This edition of the IWT features 46 researchers in its technical evaluation committee, 19 of whom come from countries other than Brazil. According to IWT’s Technical Program Chair, Dr. Luciano Leonel Mendes, the committee comprises experienced and reputable professionals of the research areas encompassed by the scientific event, which is essential for guaranteeing the high quality of the papers to be published.
“The members of the committee are responsible for assigning the papers to be reviewed to researchers in their circles who have proven competence in the specific areas of each paper. This process yields a subset of accepted papers which have meaningful content and great scientific impact”, Dr. Mendes points out.
Also according to Dr. Mendes, a technical evaluation committee composed of competent researchers of different nationalities is the basis of a virtuous cycle whose outcome will be an excellent event with enhanced impact on scientific development.
Held every two years, IWT aims to discuss the latest developments in the different areas related to Telecommunications through the presentation of studies conducted by researchers from all around the world. Those interested in submitting papers may do so at www.inatel.br/iwt.

- Deadline for submittal of papers: January 20, 2015
- Notice of acceptance: March 14, 2015
- Deadline for submittal of final version: April 14, 2015 IWT: June 14 to 17, 2015
